Horseshit. MADD doesn't give a crap about stopping DUI. They rather spend money on increasing the size of their own organization than putting it towards anything that actually reduces the occurrence of DUI.

Those people saying a lawyer can't do anything for you don't know anything. I don't know why everybody here assumes every DUI arrest is done properly and the person is actually guilty. I don't know any of the defense attorneys in this area personally, but I can give you at least 1 name (might have more, don't have my list handy right now). PM me so I remember.

Even though this guy has basically admitted guilt, the arrest might not have been proper. Keep the cops honest every time so they don't become dishonest some of the time. Quite frankly even the most honest they can be made isn't honest enough - Intox 5000 sucks, if they're so concerned with DUI, they should do blood draws every time.

People are right to say enroll yourself in some sort of anti-alcoholism, though if this is your first DUI it might not do very much. Anybody can have 1 DUI. If this is a repeat you really should enroll in some sort of program.
