The car to have in the near future will be something with one of Audi's new turbo diesels in it. They're comming next year. Audi was doing a cross country test w/ a diesel A4, A3, Q5, and Q7. Even the big Q7 was averaging 29 mpg combined. The A3 was in the 45 mpg combined range. Truly awesome technology... fuck a hybrid.
Agreed. I did a research paper on how diesels are the future not hybrids and my taintface professor got all pissy because someone doesn't think hybrids are the ultimate answer.
Diesel is the way to go, even if they didn't get such good mileage....you can make your own.
