No. Clocking is done only if shit doesn't line up or doesn't position its self right. But if u are puting it back on the same manifold on the same car and motor U should be fine. Maybe u were thinking of priming? Thats really never a bad idea.

thank you for the information. priming? thats where you make sure oil goes into the turbo right by taking the feed line out then putting it back in? My buddy was talking about it one day but i dont remember what he said i will google it..thanks again
