Default Re: Z28 Camaro a good Drifter?

I've got a pretty decent amount of driving time with camaros (had an lt1 and now an ls1) but never actually did drifting officially.

I can tell you, the power is more than enough to get the cars sideways but the main problem I could see is the steering would probably need longer tie rods to get more angle. It seems like there isn't a huge span of steering from right to left full lock if that makes sense. Also, with the wheels being kind of heavy turning the wheel really quicky can be a chore.

I've got a locker and 4.10s in my 6spd ls1 and it is really easy to control sliding around turns. The lt1 had basically the same low end grunt so I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to drift it fine. Shit, if anything it'll be better stock than most "drift" cars.
