You're not seriously thinking about changing your rings without honing your cylinders, are you?
Ring break-in goes something like this: Go gentle, don't spin too long at the same RPM (like long highway trips at the same speed), and don't use synthetic oil. Oh, and stay off the boost for a while, until the rings seat nicely. All this is slight overkill, but overkill never hurts when you're building a turbo setup.
