anyway... OP, your thread should be more along the lines of "how can i get a local meet started" or something along those lines. this thread comes off like your bitchin... recipe to get flamed.

if you wanna get something started, just post up sayin youre gonna be somewhere hangin out. if someone local wants to come, they'll come. the forums arent gonna do it for you. if you see someone around town with a decent, talk to them. (and try not to sound like a stalker or a car thief) tell them what youre tryin to do and SOMEONE is gonna think its a good idea.

the main point is that the only way youre gonna get something started is to get out and talk to people. build some rep by proving that your a decent guy and not a ricer. start meeting at your place. once you get about 3 or 4 people, talk to a business owner and see if they'll let you hang out at their establishment. once a few start showing, you'll start growing. people will take notice and you'll have your group of 'enthusiasts'.

and btw... you might wanna wait till it gets a lil warmer!
