If you can prove in court with the appropriate document that you were on your way home from work and that your gf also works at the same place it might get dropped. Then again there might be exceptions and questions that can be asked such as; does your gf live with you ? maybe you were driving out of your time boundary during that time ? If you can ask your manger to issue you a document that your gf also works with you and you were heading home it might help make things easier. Worse case just pay the ticket if it's not much.
