i cleaned the screen on the iacv and it wasn't that dirty to begin with.
are you sure it cant be the o2 sensor? the thing is pretty much hanging, touching the ground

edit: jumped the plug on the ecu and its throwing 3 codes:

65 Rear oxygen sensor circuit malfunction. (this has been showing since the o2 sensor broke)

these two are new:

20 Electronic load detector - possible open or grounded circuit in ECU wiring.

41 Heated oxygen sensor - heater circuit.
