alright... u did 9 months? great! i did 9 1/2 months on naval vessel. you sat in the water standing gun Mount watches looking at wooden boats and sea snakes? great! maybe hit few ports to get drunk? great! care packages every unrep? great! ...i did the same and more. shyt i was even involved in navy seals operation seizing the n.Korean scud missile ship(sosan).
Like everyone said, we all are in military and if you ask me navy is the weakest. We get involved in the least dangerous missions. Sure we fire push button weapons, logistical support, but are we ever on the ground going door to door? Except for select units and teams(seals)Hats off to other services! Job well done!
