no electrical symptoms such as cluster dimming or anything of that. car would just shut off and idiot lights would come on.

no CELs or stored codes. its an obd1 ECU with harness.

yes... most of the time when it dies it does not turn over right away.

the times when it was the worst was when it was during a hot day. not sure if that was a coincidence or not. that was before distributor change when it was more intermittent... right now its at a point where it does it everytime the car is started but at varying times after it's started.
