if that's the truth then the cop should agree and tell the judge that and it will be chocked up to faulty equipment which carries no points and is a much cheaper fine, if you are lying in anyway the judge and cop will see throught it, then you will need a lawyer to tell the story for you... and if you think the cop hates hondas, then get a lawyer, if u want to be on the safe side, get a lawyer...
