im willingto help you as much as i can i have done tons of b series swaps i dont know it all but i know enough you can use any obd you want most people go obd0 or obd1 because you can chip them and have more of a tuning ablity the only good thnig about obd2 ecu's are they will tell you whats wrong like
this..obd1 will tell you that the motor has a random misfire obd2 will tell you motor has a misfire in cylinder 3
