i bet money the towing company is not liable...

the reason being is that im sure your apartment complex told them to get the car off their property...

i have encountered this situation as well...we took pics and even had hamptons finest come out....cops said to haul it and we did...dragged it off the blocks and up the bed....when the owners called they acted just like you are(understandable)

but in the end it was at the apartments request because of the clause in the lease...and noone was liable...your insurance will cover it
