I can see how people would think it's unfair. Here's what it comes down to.

-I tuned the car on crome, Matt tuned it on neptune. I couldn't even look at Matt's map if I wanted to , mine was from scratch.

-Marcus' car put down the same power since Matt tuned it, and we havn't even checked for boost leaks since. the car remains untouched.
*the car made 432 on the dyno day, previously it made 422 and 451 (422+451)/2=436.5, and take into account it was hotter out than when matt tuned it.

-I wanted Matt's tune to go first, I got the short end of the stick on that with the heatsoak. Keeping that in mind, I even detuned it before the run.

-My tune was compared to the 'Cadillac' of tunes. The, what, $350-500 Adrenaline Autoworks/Matt shue dyno tune.

for the record. I'm not trying to stir anything up. Just bring my name up, from where adrenaline has attempted to drag it through the mud. I like to think my work speaks for itself.

Matt, thanks for being a good sport.
Pip, I know you were expecting me to make an ass out of myself, thanks for having me.
Not stir anything up? Lol. Your intentions were to pretty much make me look bad. I could post up stuff that makes you look bad too, but i'm not and never have done that. Just because a car makes more power on one tune versus another doesn't mean its a "better" tune. I'm not saying yours is bad, but seeing who makes the bigger peak numbers isn't the way to do it and you and I both know things would be more fair if the car was tuned on the same day....even though its pretty hard to keep conditions constant so thats the battle is pretty pointless anyways...like you said heat soak among other things. I'm not saying your tune is unsafe or anything like that...although you should probably tell your friends not to publically say that

Also just so people know looking at my maps would be pointless...fuel values from neptune won't work in crome and neither will the timing values. The actual timing output between the two programs is completely different.

Also cars will make similar dyno numbers in hot and cold weather on our dyno. All numbers are SAE corrected. With all things being equal on the car it will produce similar results.

As for the "cadilac" of tunes....if you are referring to the pricing then i don't really see where you get that. I don't see too many shops charging less than $350 for a full obd1 dyno tune.

Anyways...Like I said I think a shootout with different shops/tuners bringing their own cars to compete against eachother would be more fun.
