The rebuild would be a better/more reliable option depending on how good the rebuild is. You have to make sure your housings are in good shape though.

too bad you aren't here, I just remembered I have a turboII engine sitting in my garage. If you have the time, rebuilding a rotary yourself isn't to hard as long as you take your time and pay attention to what you are doing.
