when you leave the starting line your given your route sheet, it has all the "directions" and crap on it. you follow those all the way till the end. we went up in the mountains alot, through skyine drive and the like, dipped into west VA for a bit than came back through the mountains and ended up in richmond. there were a few checkpoints along the way. the only hard part was the directions, they were vague at points and kinda eh. your best bet is to stick with the pack, thats where all the fun is anyway. mosyt of the directions are based on time so u need a stop watch and miles so u need a working odometer. u mite need to adjust the given time to your speed cuz your probably not going the speedlimit. not really anything "hard". good times
