Right. Still the same old people as far as I know. HR blows at NG. For those applying or what not, patience is key and that asking for much in itself.
I don't believe George Whitte(sp?) is running the co-op program anymore. When i interviewed over the spring, a lady named Evelyn was in charge and she mentioned that she just took over and the reason why my app took so long was because of all the changes they were going through.. but it really sounds like its always been like that haha.

Yeah, the process is a alot harder for ME's. What sucks is the kids that do get in and got that good old 3.8 or 4.0 GPA stll suck at there job. I dont have the super high GPA but I do have the design smarts and I can easily bust out some calculations if there is any need.
on the job, you really dont do any hand calculation other than some basic arithmetic and sometimes trig to find an angle or a length of something. They have calculators that perform all the calculations necessary for your job.. in the dept i was working in atleast. I would assume its like that everywhere.

What if one to get a MEME, how would they look at that? I know there would be a salary bump and replaces 2 years of exp, but I'm wondering if it open doors for more research type positions? I'm thinking about doing a 1-2 class per sem 4 year plan heh.
