Sure, you can put stuff wrapped in a tarp on the ground, or in the classroom, or locked in the room upstairs in the building. Nobody will mess with it. And yes re: glovebox if you can lock it. Just nothing too heavy that could cause it to fly open... i.e. no handguns (don't ask, hahaha)
