That's what I paid for it plus tax and whatever other additional fees they add when you buy a gun because the previous owner didn't feel confortable doing a fully private transaction. As for the chip in the handle I couldn't tell you where that came from. I think it was just a fluke thing. I literally have not put much use into this gun. This weapon is no longer produced and is hard to find so I would consider it more of a rare item to find but am not asking a "collector's price". I would be willing to show anytime.
