Sorry, don't know that much about 5.0's, other than they respond hell'a' good to mods. I would start out with a Steeda Tri-ax shifter and gears as some of my first mods. CAIs are stupid, remove the air silencer and slap in a K&N and you have yourself a do-it-yourself CAI. That about all the help I can give though, sorry.... Congrats on on the new 'stang.
