It is deep and relatively quiet until about 3000 rpm. It steadily gets louder, then from 5-6k rpm you can really hear the 2JZ growling. I have not had a problem with the cops around here. If i am the only car around and go by one thats parked I usually just put the clutch in real quick and have no issues.
