tires are probably starting to "cup". run your hand over the tread, it's probably kind of wavy rather than completely round. That makes the front end shudder a bit when leaned onto that part of the tread. if it was a balance issue, it would do it all the time, not just when leaned over.
this is exactly what it is, im going to have the tire replaced next weekend when i get some free time.
