well there is your problem...get a 10lb sledge hammer and beat the piston in....it will go

but seriously,if you get the first two in,just look and see whats happening and fix it....i always use the wooden handle of the hammer to tap the piston down once i have the ring compressor seated flat on the block...if you keep it flat against the block there is no way the ring can pop out ...
