You're just not getting the point. Boosting a motor that wasn't meant to be boosted will blow it at some point. May be a few years down the road, but it will blow. A K-series swap may be a hair slower than your car, but it will last a heck of a lot longer than yours unless the driver is stupid.
BTW, how much HP does your setup put down on the dyno? A K-series with bolt-ons should be able to put down approximately 200 hp.
