turbos are more efficient as far as power goes, but you have the chance of turbo lag too. I think turbo's are better for the engine w/ the boost controller since for simple daily driving you can put it on the lower setting, where as to change the boost for a s/c you need to change out pulleys. Not to mention you get a nice BOV sound of course, you can always replace the bpv for a bov... but whatever.
