Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but if I wanted to put a 3rd row rear facing bench in the back of my hatchback does anybody know what the legality of this would be. I can get a hold of seatbelts and have mounting spots for them. If anybody has any info on this that would be awesome!

why seatbelts? if you're going to be fucking dumb enough to sit on a 3rd bench, facing backwards in a hatch then you deserve to die anyhow, hopefully sending their bodies forward like flesh torpedoes and killing everyone else in said hatch
