My old CRX had a JRSC'd D16Z6 and it put out enough HP for my likings. Then again, I wasn't out to race everybody or attempt to break any landspeed records. Anyways, you already know my thoughts about that whole racing issue...

If I had to do it again, I'd go JRSC again, and have Larry (T.O.O.) modify it for me.

Already knowing that you're putting the B16 into your CRX, you may encounter clearance issues trying to get one to fit a SC into the engine bay, so that may leave you with either the option of going turbo, NA, or nitrous.

Stay NA for a bit and if you decide that's not enough power, spend your $$ first on upgrading the brake system before you go FI.
