I mean c'mon 260? thats pretty weak. GM on the otherhand at least uses a fair V8 (350 Small block) pushing a hair over 300 horses, much better but it's not hard to throw a turbo kit on a integra/civic whatever and match that then it becomes a matter of power to weight which an import is almost ALWAYS going to win
Shutup, I've owned more Preludes, and driven more than you ever will.

Just because we drive domestics doesn't mean we were born with them, and have had one our entire lives you fucktard. There's a reason I got rid of a shitmobile called a Prelude.

LS1's have a good bit more than a "hair" over 300hp.

LT1's have just a few "hairs" under 300hp. No, a stock h22a will not touch a Mustang GT with a halfway decent driver. Maybe you're talking about the 95-98 5.0 motors, which were complete pigs, and NOONE cares if they win a race against them. 5th Gen Preludes are FAR, FAR, FAR from quick. Shit, a 5th gen Prelude weighs about 150 less than my Firebird.

There's this thing called de-tuned, do you really think a car company will sell a car with 400+ HP stock, and not have it be a super car? No. Why? Because insurance on a 330hp LS1 is enough, if they came from the factory 400-500hp, which they have NO problem whatsoever doing, then they'd only be getting sold to a very small niche of "racers." Who buys Z06's? 90% of the time, people that will (eventually) race them.

Honda Preludes on the other hand come practically overtuned from the factory. I had I/H/E, pulleys, random other shit I can't think of, and what'd it do for my Prelude? Jack shit. Why? Because Honda HAS to send out their 4cyls totally tuned up so they can hit their magical 200hp.
Now run along and talk shit to your other 15 second 1/4 buddies.
