I just don't understand how I'm supposed to admire a stock V6 Mustang with an H-pipe and no mufflers. Now if it was the same car with a different engine, a better exhaust design, AND mufflers? That I think I would like.

Maybe I'm just bitter because I get V6 Mustangs all the time as rental cars when I go on business trips, and they're such piles of shit. I keep asking if they have something basic like a Pontiac G6 or Toyota Camry, but they're always out of them so I get stuck with a V6 Mustang instead. All I want is something with enough room inside for a suitcase that isn't going to spit me off an wet exit ramp because it has zero steering feel and absolutely no idea what the rear end is doing because it's got marshmallows instead of a rear suspension. It's like driving only the front half of the car, until you turn and then you're not sure you're driving a car at all. Even a shit car like a G6 is better at all of those things, and I know where the front of the car is when I park. I'm not sure where Ford found that automatic transmission either, but it needs to be retired. They make a lot of noise though. Not sure where all the power goes, but they make a lot of noise.

I'm not really sure why the V6 and V8 versions are completely different, but they are.
