I know people who paid $2k for GSD's. I paid 3k for my dog (not gsd) and I don't regret it at all.
GSD's are awesome though, just want to get a well breed dog. My Grandpa had a male named Barron who was the best dog ever!
I love the breed. But I don't doubt some dogs costing that much. But im not paying that because ive consistently seen AKC GSDs sell for around $800.
They are extremely intelligent animals... I just need to find some good training courses for them to. I was watching a bunch of YouTube videos on them and the more I see and learn about them the more i fall in love with them.
