It was in Pearisburg. Ironically enough I was driving back from West Virginia, after going to court to fight a speeding ticket I got on US 19. I was driving along 460 and the road was absolutely deserted. Apparently the cop was parked with his lights off (or at least hidden enough that I couldn't see his parking lights) in a used car lot, next to all the used cars.
Once again more proof that towns with pieces of highway love them as income sources. Driving 9mph over in the middle of the night on an empty road is really a danger to society. I got out of the ticket after taking the VASAP class, but that was still $100 and 8 hours of my life I'll never get back.
