The track has controlled conditions. They clean the track regularly and after any incident, they clean up debri, oil, coolant, etc. The area is usually fenced in and have barriers on both sides of the track. There is usually an EMT on standby. Even then people wreck and die at the track. Public road just bring to many uncontrolled variables.
hmmm, you must not of heard about Summerduck thursday night when there was coolant on the track from the truck before and the next car down that lane spun out and hit both walls. Granted Summerduck sucks, but that still disproves your point about them cleaning it. Not trying to say racing on the street is better or more safe but both have bad possible consequences.
