yeah he could have.....and he freely says that he could have made more power......by turning up the boost....
what point is that you are trying to make dan?
i have already stated that an a/a is prolly the best one out there for most applications...but an a/w has its advantages too. you say spraying is good....and it is. till the bottle runs out....have you ever had ran a system like that? i can let you talk to a friend of mine in Ohio that is running the DEI cryo cool system on his wrx....and he is telling me that on most runs, he lasts about 5-15 minutes running it, and that is through a boost switch, only on above 9psi.
10lb bottle. now, if you have an a/w, it is able to absorb more heat from the air charge, and it will disperse it out of the radiator for that system. like all of us have said before....
and yes, Jeff is right in essence it is still going to ambient one way or another.....that is how all heat exchangers work. some do it differently then others. an a/w has the ability to absorb MORE heat in the same contact time with the air charge....there is no disputing that. yes, there will be more heat in the cooling media, but it is able to disperse the heat out of it through the radiator also....what goes in must come out.
but, of course.....that system must suck, cause no one uses them *cough*cyclone*cough**cough*lightning*cough*
