The sputtering off the line is because you need to shim your needle, but dont do that until you have dialed in your main jet. The easy way yo do this is to figure out which jet gives you your highest top speed.

Your idle is going to be off because you need to adjust your air/fuel screw on your carburetor. It is located on the side that faces the CVT cover, it is a D shaped bolt. The best way that I have heard to make a tool to adjust it is to take a BIC pen get it really hot then press it to the screw and let it cool on it and wala you have a D shaped tool one.

I am running pretty good on mine with a 80/38 set up. I am going to be attempting to tune this set up more here this coming weekend.
Thanks for the tips. Weather dependent, I'll see if I can get the main dialed in tomorrow/thursday.
