i dunno if anybody mentioned it cause i didnt feel like readin through all the posts on this thread, but for some reason whenever people mention turbochargers someone always mentions lag right behind it. think about it alot of turbo kits can make full boost before 3k. whereas a centrifugal supercharger makes its peak boost at peak rpm, isnt that lag? when it comes down to it i believe that turbos are far superior to centrifugal superchargers on the street or in a race car. a single turbo kit can make just as much torque as any positive displacement supercharger with no load on the crank and no loss of power due to driving itself. and theres no belt to break for the turbo.
