Yes you don't have to push hard w/ the clay... I just keep and eye on the clay stretching it out and folding it over frequently.

Yeah after you remove the wax you buff it to make it shiney.... that's why it says "Wipe off, turning to a clean side for the final pass" A foam pad is the least abrasive and is designed for polishing/buffing. It really brings out the shine.
