First off, what car doesn't have engine problems?
RX7's have a nasty name for themselves due to the fact that they consume alot, and spit out a lot of bad emissions. They produce a lot of power with a low displacement, but consume/process at a much higher rate than a piston engine. So, being that they work so hard they do tend to get 'crappy' faster than a piston engine. Which, is why you have to baby RX7's, and other rotary engines.
