If you get a rotary, take care of it and check everything (fluids, levels, temps, seals) for leaks or anything out of the normal. Of course you should do this with every car, but this one will cost you more to fix

I also heard you should hit the red-line at least once a day when driving it.. I'm not an expert on it, check out one of the club sites. If you have money for a FD, get a FC.. just a thought...
EDIT: I hope you have a DEEP pocket for anything that breaks or needs to be replaced.. my friend's stock tail (one of them) was $380... I'd hate to know what other parts are......
