If you were rejected, you need to have the issues repaired. After the repairs are done, you may go back to the rejecting facility for a reinspection at the cost of $1. If you do not wish to return to the rejecting facility, you may have the vehicle reinspected at another facility, but they are allowed to charge full price since they did not inspect the vehicle initially.

Be prepared, though, that if there is any further issues, or issues missed by the rejecting station, that a second rejection cannot be issued.
