factory ecu $975 + $400 labor. That sucks, you could have bought an AEM EMS or some other standalone for less than that. This is my philosophy, when something breaks on your car, just replace it with something better. ECU breaks=buy a nicer ECU. Brakes need replaced=buy cross drilled rotors and nice pads. Clutch slips=buy a better one. When your car breaks it is not always a bad thing. A lot of times more desirable aftermarket parts cost less than OEM replacements.
