I need to get rid of my 92 ford exploder. I found a 1997 ford expidition 2x4 with 98,000 miles Black with grey cloth interior. Minor body damage (can be fixed for $500 i think) has a ghetto cd player, 2 cig burns in front seat, center console pad is ripped, check engine light is on, has ghetto ass chrome fenderwell thingies (will be gone before i pay for it). Needs 2 rear tires and had an exhaust leak.

Anyway, I can buy it from the dealer for $6,000 or if I have them fix everything $7,500. Is this a good deal? Anything I need to watch for?

Im having my mechanic friend take a quick look at it tomorrow and pull the check engine codes. I will also pull a carfax (anyone have access to a free carfax???? Please???).
