i dont really see a problem with changing it out, cut the around the weld making the hold in the bed slightly bigger? then grind the weld down on the pipe and sell/trade? then approix 9" hole in bed left over? would give a 8" stack some movement if i wanted another one?
i do like the stack tho, so ill see
