Dont use wood glue, use 100% silicoln. Wood glue doesn't flex and over time it will crack and air will leak. The silicoln will flex when the air hits and will supress any vibrational noise coming from the wood touching other wood. Use 3/4" MDF and 1-1/2" wood screws. DRILL THE HOLES FOR THE SCREWS FIRST! Yes Choodle I already knew that. I use wood glue to hold it then seal it with silicone. It works believe me. Screws? I use a nail gun. Now that takes practice LOL. Don't do it right then through the MDF it goes.
