fyi, i'm not sure about other cities, but all chesapeake deputies can have strobe lights on one of their personal cars. and, deputies have jurisdiction in all of va, not just the city they work for, and can pull you over for anything a standard police officer can. they just don't b/c that's not there job. if a dep sees you go past him at 120, then he might do something about it. i got pulled by a 90something buick, a norfolk detective after i passed him doing 95. well, didn't really get pulled, was at a stop light, and he came up to the window and told me he'd been chasing me for 8 miles. but anyways, the next point being, there are all sorts of undercover cars, mainly used for carrying police officers/detectives/homicide whatever to places, not for traffic duty.

of course, they may be smarting up too. i've heard from a REALLY! reliable sourse about a Z28 camaro the state police have now. i even know stats about the CPU in it, hehe. ricky and scott will probably be able to keep away from it and anyone runnin' w/ them, but not many others
