If money was no option between the 4 we listed I'd go DR because IMO it's bitter offroad than the KLR and every bit as good on road.

But because I'm a cheapass and have a certain budget, I've found a really good deal on both a KLR and Ninja on CL, so I'm trying to decide. I think I'm leaning toward KLR just because the ADVRider locals are having weekend meets/rides every weekend now and I miss riding dirt.

That said, if you're looking at the Versys, have you researched the V-Strom/DL650 at all? That's the ultimate blend right there.
