Default Re: 87 Fiero GT Opinions

Hello all, I am the guy with the fiero, I had a couple people lined up to buy the car and well due to personal issues they aren't. Anyhow the car is still for sale. I am including a brief summary of it, let me know if anyone is interested.

Details about the 1987 Fiero GT with 3.1 ltr Conversion

The car is a black GT with silver lower aero package, it has many many mods on it, and runs out very well. The paint is original, and beginning to show its age on the roof, and the spoiler. The car would need a set or sail panels also, as the ones on the car have stress cracked and I haven't replaced them yet. The interior is in good shape. There are a couple things that need to be taken care of but none are major, The a/c will need to be charged, however the compressor is in working order, not sure if there is a leak or not though, Wasn't charged when I bought the car. The driver seat is in good condition but the black round runner that goes on the outside of the car has came off in one sectinon of the lumbar bolster closest to the door. I hand sewed the seat back together there just to ensure that it did not get any worse and so far it has not changed. The car has all poweer options, pw, pdl, pm, tilt, cruise, air, sunroof. The car does not have rear defrost, or leather, or lumbar seats, or t-tops but otherwise has all options available.

We will start with the most recent maintanence or upgrades and list from there

4 wheel alignment 2 days ago,

tighten tilt wheel bolts (also had loctite put on them) and installed new cruise lever, with delay wipers, (factory replacement OEM) 2 weeks ago

Complete brake job, (IE new rotors x 4, calipers x 4, pads x 8, stainless steel brake lines x 4) one month ago

Transmission rebuild. with new clutch cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, and resurfaced flywheel, less than 10,000 miles ago, also has new select, and shift cables.

Around the time of the Tranny rebuild, also did full tune up, plugs, wires, coil, dist cap and rotor, and pick up coil.

Aproximately 40,000 miles ago the engine had its rebuild. The rebuild also consisted of a full 3.1 upgrade being done to the car. The engine runs excellent and has gobs of power.

Additionally the car had a set of Massive sway bars on it, with the front being an adjustable one. The car also sports Eibach lowering springs as well as a set of 30,000 mile KYB GR II struts on the rear and KYB GR II shocks on the front. The control arms bushing have been replaced with poly bushings as well. This was done at the time of the Eibachs.

The car also has a set of Milla Miglia EVS 16'' rims with new Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's on them, they are off set sizes just like the factory wheels where with the front being slightly shortet than the rear.

Asking price is 4800.00 obo with wheels and tires, or 4500.00 with stock rims and tires, I can send you pictures of any part of the car if you want just let me know what you want to see

Now for the reason that I am selling the car.

I am now the owner of an 88 GT 5spd T-tops. and the wife has firmly stated that I can only have one Fiero. I have been looking for an 88 for a long time, a couple of years now and I finally have one so now I must part with the 87 and begin work on the 88

Let me know if your interested. and I can send pics

I will also work with you on pickup arrangements.

Thanks
TJ
