Put together a coherent fucking sentence, and stop asking stupid fucking questions. If your buddy is such a brilliant "subee" mechanic (let alone any sort of competent mechanic in the first place) he should be able to pop open the valve cover and look for upgraded valvetrain, or even pull the head(s) and see if there are different pistons/valves while he is at it.

It isn't that hard.
