try switching the repinned orange and white wires back around at the ecu, they are easy to mix up since there are 2 of each color you are dealing with, i've seen that problem with this swap many of times. i bet where the wires were repinned at the ecu for mpfi, was already setup to be swapped in the jumper harness so basicly it has swaped them back to the wrong position, with a jumper harness the dual point ecu pins can pretty much be left alone. the jumper does it for you.
