Default Re: Tiburon

they are FWD, so as always traction is an issue. NA is a lost cause for the BETA...your not gonna get anything...boost is where it's at they make some good turbo kits that are t3/t4 setups. the beta block is strong and can hold boost i really haven't heard of any body blowing engines and shit a whole lot, btu of course most run at relatively low boost, and from what i hear the headgaskets on the stock engines are what they use on the tibby drag cars in korea. so yeah it's a strong motor. the only major problem that' ive heard associated to the tiburon is people getting lemons that have shitty tranny's and clutches that go out all the time. but again those are lemons...i drive my car hard with like 87k on the odometer still stock clutch and stock tranny and i've had no problems even though i do drive it hard. but the key would be to make sure to get teh 2.0L engine (should be in all 98+) it's basically the same as the 1.8L engine but the displacement is bigger.

as for the delta platform i have basically no idea bout it since i don't have one and don't really plan on getting one.

the FI is a decent following, but a lot of them are just ricers...just dont' get sucked into the stupidity most of the people on the boards have, and try and disregard people that ask "what are the biggest rims i can fit on my car" and "check out my new graphics" and "what wing should i buy" just try and overlook that shit.
