My volvo is an inline 6, and according tot he factory specs is rated at 201 hp. I know the european model of the car came with a turbo, but for some reason the north american model did not. I have tried to do some research to find these answers for myself, but unfortunately I cannot read german/swedish. Does anyone know where I could find this turbo, or if its even able to be installed on the north american version of the car?
I mainly just want to get some more performance out of the car..then i can worry about the looks...
The european 960 version is only inline 4 turbo. The european 960 is like our 91 940SE model. I'm not sure what turbo setup you can run but you could get a used S80 T6 motor (b5284t or b6294t) and its a bolt in. Granted you would have to use the s80 t6 ecu or just run stand alone and run 10 pounds of boost on the factory twin t25 turbos. That will get you are 350hp and 375 in torque.
I have 1990 760. My interior and front end is just like your car. We have all the same suspension setup(if you have sedan). Need help just PM or aim me. Im volvo freak. Also try
